- With solid-state lasers and CO2 lasers with protective gas support, clutch bodies and clutch discs are welded with gears in both a soft and hardened state.
- The welding process is supported by a Kuka automation system.
- Other specialities of our laser welding facility include joining with an automatic press, pre-cleaning using a 2-chamber washing machine, a plasma torch for compliance with purity values and optional inductive pre-heating.
- For in-process measurement, component concentricity checks are performed using a camera. Path and force are also monitored during pressing. Subsequently, automatic marking of the components and the monitoring of weld seams are performed using an automated ultrasound test.
